LATEST & FINAL DECISION FOR v3.2 MARKER ISSUE :
After numerous late night meetings and talking to teams, the organizer came up with these results.



(1) ONLY HOUSE ELECTRONIC MARKERS - Use what the organizer provide, personal markers not allowed.
(2) HOUSE MARKERS FIRING MODE - SEMI -UNCAPPED

A Quick Briefing on the marker usage will be conducted on Captain's Meeting at 7pm on the 5th March 2010 (On Tournament Site) It is your responsibility to come and learn about the marker's functionality.
Captain's meeting is a MUST ATTEND. Attendance are taken.

UPDATES : (25th February 2010)

(1) v3.2 House Markers : Final Conclusion - No personal markers. House Electronic Markers provided.
     Briefing on the House Electronic Marker usage is on Captain's Meeting.

(2) Captain's Meeting :
     Location : On-Tournament Site
     Time : 19:00
     Date : 5th March 2010 (Friday)
     Note : v3.2 & v5.2 is a new format first ever introduced by our very own Malaysian paintballers. It's recommended for all to come and attend the Captain's Meeting to get the latest updates and familiarize yourself with the rules. The new rulebook (WERD FORMAT) will be posted out soon. Please download it for your reference.

(3) No Chrono Station on every field : There will be only 1 Public Chrono area. v5.2 players will have their markers checked and chrono tested themselves there. There will be 2 chrono marshals in the field to check your markers before the game starts, using hand-held chronos. Make sure you have your tech support with a spare marker/s waiting outside should there be any problems.
You actually save 2-3 bags of pellets easily compared to the normal 'chrono station' on normal tournaments.
Example :
If you fire 10+- Rounds per game for chrono, you'll be wasting 70+- pellets per game (7-man)
If you play 10 Games, you'll be shooting 700+- rounds.
Do the maths.....

(4) Bonus Round : One-On-One

     The top 8 finalist for every division will go "One-On-One" before the quarter-finals starts.

     It Goes : 1st vs 8th,
                  2nd vs 7th
                  3rd vs 6th
                  4th vs 5th

     Choose your 2 best player (1st player to play, 2nd player can be a stand-by player OR a support crew)
     The 2nd player (not playing player) stands in the Holding Area when the game starts.
     2nd player cannot talk or give instructions during game play.

     These 2 players are "ready to play" with Air and pods filled up.

     The will be a result before they can step out the field.

     They're playing the "Best of 3"
     If Round 1 & 2 is a draw, the 3rd round winner will be decided on:
       (1) First to be eliminated
       (2) First to touch opponent's base
       (3) *Unlimited time
       (4) Should there be a split-second elimination, there will be a Round 4 and Round 5 if needed - Based on (1),(2) & (3)
       (5) After Round 5, we flip the coin to determine the winner.
